Safe Delivery to Atlanta & In-Person Pickup Options
We regularly work with families throughout Atlanta and the surrounding metro area, and we make the process of bringing your new puppy home simple and stress-free.
For many Atlanta families, the easiest option is professional ground delivery directly from our South Carolina location. Your puppy travels comfortably with a member of our trusted team or an experienced puppy transport professional, receiving constant supervision and care throughout the trip.
Unlike large-scale shipping services, our puppies are never placed in cargo or shipped through commercial freight systems. Every trip is carefully coordinated so your puppy arrives calm, safe, and ready to settle into their new home.
Some Atlanta families also choose to visit us for in-person pickup. It’s a great opportunity to meet your puppy, spend a little time together before heading home, and see firsthand how our puppies are raised. Many families even turn the trip into a quick weekend getaway before driving back to Georgia with their new companion.

At JLDD, we follow a personalized puppy matching process designed to connect each family with the puppy that suits their lifestyle and personality best. Your match is determined using the information from your detailed application, your initial phone consultation, and the conversations we have with you once the litter has been born. We spend time getting to know each family so we can thoughtfully recommend the puppy that will thrive in your home.

Deposits are non-refundable, but they can always be transferred to a future litter if the current one doesn’t meet your preferences. We also understand that plans can change. If you run into a scheduling issue or unexpected situation, we can temporarily place your deposit on hold while still preserving your original deposit date.

We also do not reserve or promise specific puppies before matchmaking day. Although we begin monitoring each puppy’s development as early as three days old, their true personalities and temperaments usually don’t start to become clear until around six weeks of age. Waiting until that point allows us to make far more accurate matches between puppies and families.

Families who enroll in our 12-Week Fully Trained Designer Doodles Program are placed on a priority sub-list within our matchmaking system. This means they may be considered for upcoming litters sooner than families with a standard deposit. For those who are ready to invest in training early, we try to help move the process along a bit faster. Even in this program, however, our matching process remains the same — your puppy is carefully paired with your family around seven weeks of age.

Final balances are due on your puppy’s seven-week birthday, once matchmaking calls have been completed and invoices have been sent. Payments can be made by cash, check, or direct bank deposit

If you’d like your puppy to remain in our care a little longer for early house and crate training, we offer optional puppy preschool programs that help establish good habits before your puppy ever arrives home. These programs focus on building routine, confidence, and early training foundations.
You can read more about these options in our Training Packages section. If you think you may want to enroll your puppy in one of these programs, please let us know by the time the puppies reach six weeks old so we can plan accordingly and reserve a space.
