Why Dogs Can’t Replace Babysitters

If something is the matter the dog can and usually will make some noise if something is going awry, helping alert an adult to a situation. It’s like how you can’t replace adult supervision with a nanny cam.

And much like a nanny cam, dogs can be great at protecting your child and helping keep a watchful eye on them.

A trained dog, with adult supervision, can be a deterrent against unwelcome strangers and start a scene to grab your attention should something happen outside or even at home. There are some things to consider if this was something someone was interested in however.
