Dogs are often the safe place that we didn't know we needed, and we want that feeling of safety and comfort for everyone. Our mission here at JLDD is to invest in both every puppy for whom we are responsible for creating, and for every family who comes through our inbox. We have been blessed to be able to pair hundreds of families and puppies with their perfect match.
However, through the years, it's always been difficult for us to have to turn a family away due to finances, and we have always wanted to be able to give back in some way and bless some of these families. Fortunately, because of our amazing client base and the reputation we have earned, we have arrived at a place where we are able to offer a limited number of scholarships to clients who may not be financially able to invest in our of our high-quality puppies up front.
These scholarships will be available only for short enrollment periods throughout the year, and applicants will be screened THOROUGHLY prior to being approved for one of our puppies via JLDD's scholarship program.

HOW IT WORKS:

For each enrollment period, there will be 3 scholarship opportunities for an exclusive JLDD puppy. One scholarship for $1,000, one for $2,000, and one for $3,000. Applicants may select which scholarship they would like to apply for based on their needs.

ONLY ONE application per scholarship will be matched per enrollment period. If you are not matched immediately, we may elect to keep your scholarship application on file in the event that we believe we have the right puppy for you at a later date. You will be required to provide 3 personal or professional references who can vouch for you, as well as a vet reference if you have had pets in the past.

If you move past the first round of applications, you will be interviewed personally by our team

Applying means that you are open to ANY puppy whom we match you with, and that you are fully trusting our matchmaking process. This includes the disallowance of color, gender, and breed preferences, but does allow for medical needs such as allergy concerns.

We do not allow nominations for families who will potentially be surprised by this adoption as we want everyone to be prepared for the responsibility of a puppy.

Potential delivery at applicant's expense
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant must be able to personally invest an up-front minimum of $1,500. This is to ensure that the puppy still goes to a home who will be able to care for them financially.

Willing and able to uphold and sign JLDD's 2-Year Health Guarantee

Willing to undergo an in-home or video feed interview with our team

Openness to our process and team, with the understanding that personal details will not be shared without consent.
