ALL ABOUT ME!
Meet Yelow Collar
Miss Yellow is a gentle, affectionate little girl who's also very cautious and not entirely sure of the big world. She loves affection and is trusting of people. She shows reticence when it comes to being in a new environment, and it's taken her a while to warm up to even just roaming around the shed with her siblings. She can see that they have a lot of fun, but she seems to worry a little bit.I think that she would be best for a family that could treat her like a baby. Probably not little kids and another dog would not be bad as long as the dog was very gentle, non-dominant, and friendly. She would grow to find security in that dog. She's a bright little girl. When I work with her one-on-one, she is always interested in what we're doing and she catches on really, really quickly. But it has taken a while for her to not be so overwhelmed when I take her out of her pin to do an activity. If I do an activity with her in the pin, then she enjoys it and she loves to play along. If I get in the pin and I'm loving on all of her siblings, she comes right up and seeks affection just like everybody else. She definitely has her areas of safety and right now that area is really small.I have seen a lot of growth in the last couple of weeks, and I think that as she matures, that's going to get better and better. But she will always do better with a family that's going to respect that she's smart, but that makes her cautious. I haven't seen her be rowdy in any way ever. So I would love to see her with a family that would just appreciate those qualities and not try to push her out of her comfort zone.
